Structure

HAWtech comprises six universities of applied sciences from all over Germany.

It is represented by an executive board of two members. In the middle of October, 2009,  Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bernhard Schwarz, Rector of the Esslingen University of Applied Sciences was elected as its spokesman. He is deputised by Prof. Dr. Michael Heine, President of the Berlin University of Applied Sciences. They will both hold office for two years.
At general meetings, the executive heads of the universities will strive to make decisions which will further the amicable and continuing development of the Alliance.

Administrative operations will be in the hands of the office at the university from which the Alliance spokesman comes.
