Tricontinental Master in Global Studies starting at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences in the winter semester of 2015/16

In the winter semester of 2015/16 a new study program, Tricontinental Master in Global Studies, will start at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. This will be another internationalization milestone for the university, since the new program is offered jointly on three continents with two long-standing international partner institutions, namely National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) in Taiwan and Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico. The application deadline for this 4-semester international program, which leads to the academic degrees of Master of Science and Master of Political Science, is July 15, 2015.

Each winter semester each of the three partner institutions will admit up to eight students, who will start the program together in Karlsruhe before going to Taiwan for the second semester and then to Mexico for another semester. The fourth semester will be dedicated to the Master’s thesis, which will be done in an international company or institution.

The program focuses on management and economics topics as well as legal, political and cultural issues, thus offering the students a unique opportunity to become familiar with economic, cultural and political life in three different cultures.

There will be no study fees for this program. Due to its consecutive character it is mainly geared towards graduates (Bachelor, “Diplom” or equivalent) in the fields of Business Studies or Economics or a comparable qualification who are interested in international and intercultural issues. The program will be taught exclusively in English.
