Getting to know three HAWtech universities in ten days

From June 18 to 28, 2023, the HAWtech universities of Aachen, Dresden and Karlsruhe received a delegation from TAItech, the cooperating university network from Taiwan.

For the first time after the travel break caused by Corona, a study trip of the partner universities could be carried out again. A total of 12 students and six professors from National Chin-Yi University of Technology (NCUT), National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (YunTech), National Formosa University (NHUST) and National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST) visited the three HAWtech university locations. Starting in Karlsruhe, the guests got to know the universities and their respective locations. In addition to exciting laboratory visits on the topics of robotics, automation, Industry 4.0 and electromobility, the Taiwanese guests expanded their German language skills in regular language sessions. An important part of the trip was also the city tours at the three locations as well as the joint culinary discoveries with typical regional dishes from Baden, North Rhine-Westphalia and Saxony.
